Dear SAMS Members
It is with great pride and responsibility that I address you as the President of the Society of Anaesthesiologists of Maharashtra State. I want to thank each one of you for electing me as a President of most vibrant state chapter of ISA.
As you know, academics is one of our core competencies and we will continue to focus on this with our monthly Webinars with the theme, “Safe Anaesthesia Saves lives”. With the knowledge of recent advances and latest technology we can reduce morbidity and eliminate mortality associated with anaesthesia. For this we must build a culture of safe anaesthesia practices and protocols.
We will also make the SAMS zoom platform available to our city branches free of cost for academic activities.
It is said that as clinicians we are behind the curtains and so our patients or the society at large doesn’t know what job an Anaesthesiologist does. It is our combined responsibility to increase awareness and respect about our fraternity. Let us continue to do so by conducting COLS for lay people as well as frontline workers like police, fire brigade workers. Let us continue with our motto “Every Citizen a Life Saver”.
Dear Respected Members of SAMS
My Seniors, Colleagues, Friends and Younger team members,
Namaskar......
It gives me immense pleasure to connect with you all as Hon.Secretary of most vibrant branch of ISA.We together have lot of work to accomplish to make our ISA, an association to be looked upon.
I envision to increase communication and coordination among ISA Members. For this, I propose that along with individual webinars, every 3 branches should take webinars together and we should have more cultural programmes together.
Each city branch of ISA, howmuchever smaller in size, or widespread or in interiors of Maharashtra, tries to do some activity under ISA banner. I will strive to encourage these activities and revitalise dormant branches, I wish that their activities should also be known to all.
